Composing for theremin
To keep the theremin 'alive' it is of vital importance that composers keep on creating new music for theremin. Through new well written compositions the theremin can claim its place on the musical stage of the world.
Therefore I have written a short introduction about composing for theremin. Most aspects are discussed but it's always good if one writes for theremin to consult the musician you're composing for.
This introduction has been used for a session with students of the composer's class at the Rotterdam Conservatory. This institution will participate in thereminfestival.nl in 2012.
